Good morning Mzansi!
With so much going on, we all need a break from the unrelenting bad news and wrongdoing happening in our country and abroad. But, be encouraged, all is not lost! What we need is Godly Wisdom!
Proverbs 8:1-11 (MSG)
Do you hear Lady Wisdom calling?
Can you hear Madame Insight raising her voice?
She’s taken her stand at First and Main,
at the busiest intersection.
Right in the city square
where the traffic is thickest, she shouts,
“You—I’m talking to all of you,
everyone out here on the streets!
Listen, you idiots—learn good sense!
You blockheads—shape up!
Don’t miss a word of this—I’m telling you how to live well,
I’m telling you how to live at your best.
My mouth chews and savors and relishes truth—
I can’t stand the taste of evil!
You’ll only hear true and right words from my mouth;
not one syllable will be twisted or skewed.
You’ll recognize this as true—you with open minds;
truth-ready minds will see it at once.
Prefer my life-disciplines over chasing after money,
and God-knowledge over a lucrative career.
For Wisdom is better than all the trappings of wealth;
nothing you could wish for holds a candle to her.
Remember, those who wait upon the Lord, will renew there strength! Enter into your quiet places, shut out the voices of the man of lawlessness and hear the Voice of the Father, calling us nearer, closer, deeper! That is our hope! Not governments, nor the politicians, nor icons and the celebrities, nor worldly reason!
There is a call for the church to become relevant, but not conformist, we are called to be relevant and loyal to The Truth! This Truth is a person by the name of Jesus, this Truth can only be found by the unwaivering belief and trust in the Word of God, which is Truth!
This generation has replaced The Truth with a version of the truth that is leading them down the path of destruction.
“The thoughts and desires expressed through this
new culture are unaffected by the things of God. Having
thrown off the restraint of the views of previous generations,
the current generation does not believe that it is
necessary to have a defined standard of truth. Instead,
it has rejected God, the Scriptures, and church traditions—
the restraints upon society. This generation feels
justified in taking this view, because it considers the
belief systems and practices of previous generations
to have been generally hypocritical, self-serving, and
exclusive,favoring certain segments of society while
ignoring the plight of the vast majority of humanity. It
has acquiesced to a view of God popularized by famous
public icons from arts and entertainment, politics, religion,
and financial spheres who personify the apogee
of this culture in these areas.” – Sam Soleyn
It is time for us to become silent, drown out the voices of the man of lawlessness and start hearing the voice of The Father!
In these last days, there will be two companies arising in the earth, the Sons of Righteousness and the Sons of Lawlessness. Consider which company you are part of.
“God is looking for a remnant. It doesn’t have to be big in numbers, but when God finds it,
He will accelerate it in the earth like we have never seen before. Let the wheat and the tares grow together.
He will sort them out in the harvest.
In the time of the harvest He will send out his messengers (sent ones, apostolic people, who will make a separation between that which is true and which is counterfeit.
“God is looking for a people who represents Him accurately.
Christ is what God is looking for in the earth, Christ formed in a people.
When God finds that people, God will put the power of multiplication to work, and we will see nations
and the world touched and filled with the glory of God.” via The Remnant » Bizweni Community Church.
